TKC is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe working environment and safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of its employees and those affected by its objectives and activities with commitment to fulfil legal and other requirements.
To achieve this TKC operates an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that will ensure a systematic approach to identifying hazards, assessing risks with the participation of workers to determine suitable and sufficient control measures, and in particular commits to:
- Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks.
- Complying with all applicable health and safety legislation and other health and safety requirements which the company subscribes.
- Reducing the risks of illness, accidents and incidents in the workplace to the lowest level reasonably practicable using the hierarchy of controls and conditions.
- Continually improving the health & safety management system to enhance health & safety performance for the prevention of work related injury and / or ill health.
- Consultation and participation, where appropriate, with employees and other relevant stakeholders with regards relevant health and safety matters.
- Insisting that where employees identify circumstances of danger or hazard, that can cause injury and / or ill health, they will inform the organisation of the circumstances and that where change is not forthcoming, that they remove themselves from the hazard.
- All directors and managers will demonstrate leadership in health and safety matters so as to develop and maintain a positive health and safety culture.
- Supporting employees to achieve our Health and Safety Objectives & providing relevant health and safety information, training and instruction for our employees.

This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis as part of the Management Review and will be reissued only in the event of update.
